Update: (11/02/16) Four to six hour wait times are anticipated in local Prince William County polling places on November 8th. Do yourself an enormous favor… vote right now! If you are unable to wait in line for long periods of time, you can select option 2A on the absentee ballot application form and vote now. Check listings for locations and hours. In-person absentee voting in Prince William County ends Saturday, November 5th, 2016 at 5:00 pm.
Also, there is great need for Election Officers and training is provided. You could earn $155 working for the State Board of Elections. Sign up at: elections.virginia.gov/officers.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 8th, 2016. Right now is the best time to make sure:
- Your voter registration is current
- You have a valid form of identification
- You know the location of your designated polling place
In-person absentee voting is already under way in some areas of Prince William County. Loudoun County will have two locations available beginning October 25th. Fauquier County requires that absentee voting take place at their Registrar’s office. Fairfax County locations will open beginning October 1st for Saturday hours and October 17th for weekday hours. If you are in Fairfax County, you can use their interactive map, displaying wait times. (Way cool!)

October 17th, 2016 – Last day to register or update registration
November 1st, 2016 (by 5 pm) – Last day to request an absentee mailed ballot
November 5th, 2016 (by 5 pm) – Last day to request an absentee ballot in person
